for joining us tonight. i'm maureen umeh. >> and i'm will thomas. working the campaign trail at the festival when the pitbull started tangling with a poodle. police on the scene responded. karen grey houston was on the scene as it all unfolded and brings us the account of what happened out there. >> reporter: it was an orderly festival, full of people, dogs, music, food and crafts. up until two dogs, this poodle seen here with its owner, and a pitbull got into it. >> two dogs were passing by and suddenly they jump up to each other. they were fighting. >> this is the distraught owner of the pitbull who was killed. eyewitnesses say the pitbull was the aggressor. >> the pitbull started biting the owner of the dog and her bystander that was there with her. started biting them. >> bystanders tried to separate the dogs. one of them, this man, says he was bitten by the pooled. and then police got involved. >> the one issue that does not appear to be in dispute is that a police officer pulled out his weapon out here and shot and killed the dog. how and why it happened depends on whom you ask. >> thi

dead. but there are questions about how he died. i'm maureen umeh. >> i'm will thomas. police were called out three times to break up a domestic dispute at a home and on the fourth call they were forced to shoot an armed man with a rifle. >> frederick police are still in the process trying to figure out exactly what took place this morning. they say they were responding to that same home for the third time. that's when a man was spotted with a rifle. soon after there was gunfire and one man was dead. frederick police say it was a busy night for them when it came to the 200 block of market street. three times they were called to the same home to break up disputes. >> there were three calls, i believe, not in rapid succession, but within a fairly close proximity timewise. >> reporter: the third response happened just before 6 a.m. when officers got there, they found an injured woman and a man not too far away in this parking area. neighbors pointed the area out to us and we found crime scene tape here as well. here's what police say happened next. >> they were trying to approach him

't act alone and was pressured into committing the crime. fox 5's maureen umeh has more details now. >> the suspect were a bonnie and clyde team, but 18-year-old jenna baker's family says there much more to the story. they believe baker was coerced into doing what they're calling the unthinkable. >> she is a very smart girl. >> reporter: a smart girl who made a bad decision her family says to help her boyfriend rob this jefferson, maryland bank tuesday. >> i've never known her to really cause any trouble around here. >> reporter: police say 24-year- old anthony young jr. jumped over a counter, hit a male teller on a head, then cut the wires with a knife before running out into this cemetery with the cash. police say 18-year-old jenna baker drove the get-away car. >> i don't know whether he threatened her. it wasn't my sister. that wasn't who we all know. >> reporter: tips led investigators to westminster where they found some of the stolen cash inside a microwave in young's hotel room. they say young and baker used some of the money to buy a video game system, clothes, a printer and
